Bicycling in Sonoma

Let’s take a break from urban life and enjoy the natural beauty of Sonoma County’s world-famous wine country. We will meet at Janice Orrego’s, a former Maybeck teacher/current board member’s home in Healdsburg mid-morning for some breakfast snacks, beverages, and a cycling orientation before heading out for our 15-mile bike ride on one of Sonoma’s most scenic routes, West Dry Creek Road. We will stop at the quaint Dry Creek Market for provisions before cycling to a local winery for lunch and perhaps a taste of vino. Breakfast snacks and some treats for the winery will be provided. You pick up lunch at the Dry Creek Market. YUM!

You must feel comfortable cycling on rolling hills and have a working bike. HELMET and WATER BOTTLE REQUIRED.

Total time: 4 hours, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

Date: TBD SPRING 2026 (Best time of year! Bud break and not too hot!)

Location: Meet at Janice’s in Healdsburg and bike along West Dry Creek Road
