PreCalculus is a course that will prepare you for Calculus. Students will explore functions that were introduced in Algebra 2 in a deeper level. We investigate different kinds of piecewise functions, logarithmic functions, and many others. This course also  introduces many new functions as we enter into the world of Trigonometry. More excitedly, we learn about connecting these new functions to real world situations based on periodic function behavior. Near the end of this course, students will also explore new ideas such as the concept of a limit to describe functions and get a preview into the world of formal Calculus. This course emphasizes developing conceptual knowledge and constructing knowledge together as a class community.
