Sarah Weidman was born in the suburbs of Massachusetts. After graduating from Sarah Lawrence College she made her way to San Francisco for a summer internship with the political theatre group, The San Francisco Mime Troupe.

After a year with the Exploratorium, Sarah pursued her passion for education in the classroom setting. Her love for teaching and travel has led her to teach in both the Bay Area and abroad including Mexico City for three years at the American School Foundation for a combined time of ten years of classroom teaching. 

Her  passion for teaching led her to learn more about students' learning challenges and how she could support them from outside the classroom, which led her to train and become an Academic Life Coach and Learning Specialist. She uses a combination of best practices and  students' individual strengths to help support students build study and life skills both in and out of the classroom.

In addition to teaching, Sarah is also a certified yoga instructor, an amateur triathlete, and writer/performer.
