Location
An open campus, Maybeck lies across the street from the University of California at Berkeley, in an urban and academic neighborhood of bookstores and cafés. Map.
Facilities
Located in Trinity Hall of the United Methodist Church, our classrooms include computer and science labs. Although the school is not affiliated with the church, its chapel, social hall, and courtyard are available for school functions. In the immediate neighborhood, the UC Recreational Sports Facility, the campus and Berkeley YMCAs, and the Berkeley Main Library serve our extended campus needs.
Transportation
Conveniently located near the transit hub associated with the UC campus, Maybeck encourages students and faculty to take public transportation or to bicycle to school. Maybeck is a ten minute walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART station and is easily accessible by the AC Transit lines 7, 9, 15, 40, 43, 51, 52, 65, 67, and F.
Directions

From Highway 80: Take the University Avenue Exit.
Head east towards the Berkeley Hills, all the way up to the U.C. Berkeley campus.
Turn right onto Oxford, which borders the west side of the Cal campus.
Left at the 3rd signal onto Durant (a one way street).
Left at the 3rd signal onto Telegraph (also a one way street).
Left onto Bancroft (one way).
After one block you will cross Dana Street.
We're located just a little further down on the left hand side of the street at 2362 Bancroft Way.
Walk in the front doors, turn left up the stairs.
The school office is about half way down the mural-decorated hallway on the right hand side.

Parking

Parking can be a little difficult--especially in the evening--if there is a big event at the university. You can try the Fee Lot (adjacent to our building). If you park in the lot, you must pay for parking. Make sure you put the correct amount of money in the slot that corresponds to your parking stall number or they will boot your car!

Parking meters (on the street) cost 75¢ for one hour from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (otherwise free).

Sather Gate Garage (near Durant and Telegraph)

This multi-story, brick parking garage can be entered from Durant or Channing near Telegraph. It is just a couple of blocks away from our school.

U.C. Berkeley Permit Parking Lots (scattered around the neighborhood)

These require a special permit; however, certain lots on some evenings are available for public parking for a fee. Be sure to check the posted signs closely to make sure it's OK to park.
