Maybeck Performing Arts Season 2011-2012: Music

Maybeck provides student musicians a number of opportunities for performance throughout the year. They may make music in the halls and on the lawns during lunch and after school using their own or school instruments. They may perform at the beginning of each one of our Wednesday All-School Meetings. Members of the music performance classes may entertain their fellow students at the Brown Bag Concerts, informal Friday lunchtime programs, held several times a year. They may present at one or both of the school concerts (one in November, the other in June) open to the Maybeck community of family, friends and interested public. All musical styles are welcome, and original compositions encouraged, and students of any ability are welcome to perform vocal or instrumental selections. Students should contact the performing arts instructor directly for more information about any of the described opportunities, to determine rehearsal needs, and to schedule a performance time.
